Should Women Be Able To Have The Same Sexual Freedom As A Man?
In today's society women do experience a much more lenient time where women are able to dress, act, and engage in various activities as they please. Yes, a woman can do many things and she would not be thrown into a nunnery or arrested in most circumstances. However, women every day battle the constant strain of dealing with judgments on their behavior. Physical prisons are replaced with mental ones. Society dictates a specific way for women to behave, and if a woman does not she is seen as deviant. In regards to sexual permissiveness women are struck with the ever pressing idea that we must guard ourselves and forgo "unsavory" sexual behavior. If women do not they are considered deviant and thus branded...sluts or whores for their sexual permissiveness.
